547 West 47th Street – To the west, construction has been completed on a 12-story mixed-use building at Hell’s Kitchen, 547 West 47th Street. Designed by Concrete & StoneCycling and designed by CB Developers, SK Development and Iron Development Co., the 201,000-square-foot structure features studio to two-bedroom layouts and a 40,000-square-foot Cadillac dealership on the first floor. Corcoran Sunlight Marketing Group is handling sales and marketing, and CM & Associates Construction Management is serving as the general contractor for the property, which is located on 11th Street to the west, 47th Street to the south and West 48th Street to the north. .
Since our last update in September, all grilles and sidewalk rails have been removed, revealing a full showroom look.
547 West 47th Street
The lower part of the building is clad in dark brick made in the Netherlands, with a variety of bindings surrounding industrial-inspired rectangular windows. Portions of the brick surface are subtly pushed back from the lot line, creating long horizontal shadows between each layer. Available in 42 different brick shapes and sizes, each is hand-brushed with a fine reflective glaze before firing.

The same tapestry appears in the brief eastern addition, a sunken landscape garden leading to the front door beyond the main west entrance.
The upper floor has a more prominent architectural design, consisting of an attractive array of modular glass-encased boxes, each topped with a glass lattice. This western section is called “Cloud” and appears lighter in color and material.
The apartment comes in two palettes: a pale design for soft and airy tones with polished metal details, and a warm gray palette with black accents. Home features washer and dryer, central air conditioning, motorized roller shades, natural oak floors and high ceilings. Rooms on the eighth through twelfth floors in “The Cloud” feature en-suite bathrooms, Calcutta marble countertops, ceramic wall tiles, Rohl nickel fixtures, terrazzo floors, walk-in closets and private suites. The development team behind the project includes CB Developers, SK Development and Iron Country Development. A building permit filed in 2017 names Greenberg Farrow as the building’s sole architect. Today, the apartment is finally for sale on this website, which only mentions Dutch architects Beton Architects. The firm, known as Concrete, also designed Civic New York’s Bower Hotel, one of the tallest modular hotels in the world.

The building’s facade features dark gray bricks and industrial-style windows on the sixth floor. From there, the structure changes dramatically into a solid volume with dozens of residential areas.
The facility is 25,000 square feet and includes a rooftop pool, fitness center, yoga studio, children’s play area, pet sitting station, community kitchen, greenhouse, and two guest houses for short-term visitors.

The photos show a reinforced concrete structure complete with a multi-level balcony on top of the building. Irregular patterns and steps of different sizes are eye-catching. The section is covered in floor glass panels and is expected to be installed later this year after exterior work is completed.
Meanwhile, work is underway to install industrial-style windows in the lower part of the building. They can be found in North Heights on West 48th Street.
Black mesh, shingles and large white plastic sheets still cover the first six floors, giving the area a traditional sense of relevance to its industrial past.
547 West 47th Street was previously a two-story Lexus dealership, and the new dealership will include 40,000 square feet of retail space on the west first floor. The 161,000-square-foot residential complex will have 219 units with an average of 27 units on the first seven floors and 14 units on the eighth through 12th floors. Future resident amenities will include bike storage, pet washing stations and exercise rooms. . Residents will enjoy a yoga studio, children’s play area, outdoor rooftop pool and deck, outdoor dog run and greenhouse. The developer is targeting LEED certification.

The closest Metro is the Port Authority bus stop at 42nd Street and the A, C and E trains at 50th Street. The entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel is a short distance south of 11th Street, where the Hudson River meets Twelfth Street on the west side.
