Leni Klum is following in her mother’s fierce footsteps.
The 18-year-old daughter of Heidi Klum turned an average New York subway station into a backdrop for an improvised and futuristic photo shoot on Wednesday.
Wearing a structured chrome jacket and matching mini shorts, the blue-eyed brunette struck pose after pose along an equally shiny turnstile – at a seemingly empty station in Soho.
Leni completed her look with black stiletto pumps and a pair of blurry sunglasses.
Her chocolate brown locks were parted in the middle and styled straight, while her make-up was kept to a minimum.
In various photos, the young model leans against one of the turnstiles before jumping up and sitting on it, alternating between serious and playful shots.
But don’t let Leni’s unwavering professionalism and dedication to her craft fool you!
The beauty was seen wrapped in a plush white bathrobe and had comfortable Uggs on her feet just outside the entrance to the station. After all, the Big Apple hit a frigid 31 degrees Fahrenheit yesterday.
Leni and her supermodel mum, 49, recently hit the headlines for an underwear advert which many found ‘weird’ and ‘disturbing’.
In an October campaign for Italian intimates brand Intimissimi, the mother-daughter duo pressed their scantily-clad bodies together while modeling lacy bras and underwear.
“Like mother and daughter. Every woman has a special place in her heart for her favorite underwear,” she wrote in one of the photos on the company’s Instagram page.
“The pic is weird and the caption makes it even weirder lol,” one critic commented, while another captioned the behind-the-scenes video: “So disturbing… 😢 Put them in different ads.”
However, Leni was not bothered by the onslaught of opinions.
She later told Page Six at her mom’s annual Halloween party that she “honestly didn’t look at a lot of the reactions” to the pictures.
“Overall I’m happy with the campaign and I had a wonderful day with my mum,” she said. “I think the photos turned out great.”
