A wild brawl broke out at Sunday’s Ole Miss-LSU women’s soccer game before the players were ejected.

The incident occurred in the second overtime of an SEC tournament game when LSU’s Mae Gordon and Ole Miss’ Ramsey Davis fought for the ball near the sideline.

Gordon caught up with Davis before stealing the ball, and the Ole Miss junior grabbed the opponent around the waist in a desperate attempt to retrieve the ball.

The umpire unsuccessfully tried to intervene before two of Gordon’s team-mates intervened, with No. 8 Shannon Cook pushing them both away before pulling his fellow Tiger to one side.

Ole Miss coach Matt Mott put his arm around Davis as he tried to escort his player to the sideline.

But it didn’t end there, as LSU’s Rammie Noel ran over, seemingly trying to defend his teammate.

Shockingly, she darted in and grabbed Davis by the hair, pulling him to the ground.

Coaches from both teams had to step in to eventually break up the brawl before the referee stepped up and showed Davies, Gordon and Noel red cards.

Gordon, a senior, could later be seen being led off the court in tears by an LSU staff member holding her hair.

With two players suspended, things only went downhill for the Tigers as they ended up falling to Ole Miss 3-0.

All three players have reportedly received one-game suspensions for their involvement in the brawl.
